Overall Responsibilities:

· Provide legal support to Ford China Operations on a wide variety of practice arrears including legal issues arising out of investment and business operations in Ford's corporate management offices as well as in the various joint ventures in China;

· Legal support to Ford's major investment, restructuring and technology transactions in China and in the Asia Pacific and Africa Region;

· Draft, translate and proofread legal documents in both Chinese and English;

· Ensure that the business operation/transactions are in compliance with the applicable law;

· Provide cost effective and value added services to the business;

· Support Legal research assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements:

· Undergraduate from a reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred;

· Minimum 3-year legal professional experience in multinational corporations or reputable law firms; experiences in both preferred;

· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese; capable of drafting legal documents in both languages;

· Well-organized and be able to work on his/her own under pressure and within tight deadlines;

· Passage of the Judicial Exam in the PRC;

· Quick learner having good analytical skills;

· Good problem solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints;

· Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.

Other Consideration and Complexities:

· Adaptability to changing environment and uncertainty;

· Be geographically mobile and can work anywhere in China due to business needs;

· Good interpersonal skills and team work spirit;

· Familiar with general corporate culture of multinational corporations.
