Key Responsibilities
? Lead JQD manufacturing team (Manufacturing Engineering & Production) in achieving timely order fulfillment with desired product quality and cost effectiveness.
? Develop manufacturing systems to assure schedule compliance, build in quality and waste prevention. Ensure product fully meets customer specification, internal workmanship, industry standards and in strict compliance to quality system and certification requirement. Define manufacturing standards and procedures. Ensure timely execution of engineering changes.
? Provide leadership in overcoming manufacturing issues in material, process, quality and production. Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and deliverables. Take proactive and timely actions on negative trend. Ensure timely and cost effective problem resolution. Drive root cause analysis and system solutions to ensure effective execution of preventive and irreversible actions.
? Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction .Continuously optimise manufacturing processes via Lean techniques and Engineering solutions. Responsible for Plantwide RPS & Strategic Deployment implementation, Capex and Productivity projects execution and monitoring.
? Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and project management activities. Define review gates, criterias, and establishes progress tracking and milestone update to management. Proactively identify gaps and drive actions through closure.
? Ensure workplace and workforce safety are not compromised at all time. Maintain clean and conducive work environment.
? Ensure all required documentation are timely and accurately updated and executed.
? Develop team of competent, disciplined and flexible workforce. Take proactive actions on training, coaching and counseling.
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

? Minimum Engineering/Automation degree. Master Degree would be an advantage.
? Min. 12 years work experience in manufacturing environment with >5 years in leading production & Engineering team in management capacity.
? Proficiency in written and spoken English. Possesses good presentation and communication skills and ability to articulate viewpoints.
