JOB OBJECTIVES:
The Construction Engineer, Civil, will be assigned to project site as project Civil supervisor to take responsibility in monitoring the civil construction and structure installation works and ensure the works to be executed in a professional safety, quality and effectively manner within an investment project volume of up to ? 80 million..


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cooperates actively and interculturally with customers, EPC contractors and suppliers.

2. Supply support on cost estimation during study phase in term of request.

3. Participate in model review in terms of request.

4. Organize and leading the ITB documents preparation work of civil discipline in accordance with BASF procedures.

5. Participate in TBE, technical clarification and site survey to bidders ongoing project during bidding phase.

6. Detail construction schedule controlling based on project milestone schedule.

7. Prepare project construction specifications and procedures or Review and comments on the relevant specifications and procedures & plans which prepared by EP or Contractor.

8. Coordinate and communicate with EP or construction contractor on the site.

9. Support project EHS manager and participate in daily EHS management during constrcution phase.

10.Take the leadship of QA/QC management work of civil part.

11.Supporting authority approval works related to civil and final acceptance approval.

12.Work with the third party or local authority for quality audit or supervision

13.Check & review change orders on the site, support PM on construction cost saving.

14.Supporting pre-commissioning works and commissioning works in terms of request.

15.Monitor daily construction acitivities of civil construction contractors on site. (AST+LDI mode)

16.Support and communicate with EP on site with regard to daily construction activities. (AST+EP Mode)

17.Organize the preparation work of as-built documentations. (AST+LDI Mode)

18.Support the preparation work of as-built documentations and give comments if any. (AST+EP Mode)
REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor degree with major in CSA mandatory - Master degree preferable
2. At least more than 10 years work experiences and more than 5 experiences in national construction companies mandatory

3. Strong communication and interpersonal understanding skills and excellent influencing skills to impress, convince and influence others mandator.
4. Skilled in civil quality management mandatory
5. Proficient spoken and written English and Chinese (mandarin) skill
