Main Responsible:

• Responsible for accounts payable transaction processing and controls
• Responsible for accounts payable process and system improvement
• Responsible for accounts payable team management
• Ensure the procedures, processes and policies are in place for all aspects of the AP processing
• Become expert in the systems used by the AP team and continually look to improve controls and processes
• Process, policy and system training over the company
• Keep improving the process and system to have better efficiency and controls
• AP reconciliation with suppliers, systems, including inter-company payables, etc.
• AP accounting and reporting
• Team training and management
• Fully competent professional team of employees who are highly motivated.
• Recognised by customers as an efficient and motivated workforce.
• Team working together as one unit.
• Improved controls, clearer understanding of business process.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above
• > 4 years working experience in Accounting & Finance, in a managerial role preferred
• Sound knowledge of AP accounting treatment and related internal control requirements

• Retail industry experience & ERP system experience

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build up relationships with key contacts both internally and externally.
• Self motivated in order to reach specific timescales and deadlines.
• Good team player - working within an interactive team.
• Can work under pressure
