POSITION TITLE: Manager Business Development Insurance

REPORTING TO: President,Dongfeng Nissan Auto Finance, Ltd.

LOCATION: Guangzhou, China

THE COMPANY: Nissan China Investment Co. Ltd.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Manager Business Development will be responsible for supporting the President of Dongfeng Nissan Auto Finance by developing new products and insurance schemes for Chinese dealers and for evaluating new business opportunities and adjusting / enhancing existing business models with financial analysis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

• Should have strong understanding of the Extended Warranty (EW) business and car-related insurance products (Motor Insurance, GAP, etc.), specifically should have or be able to develop understanding of EW and car-related insurance contracts, pricing, loss estimations
• Develop and negotiate insurance or reinsurance schemes and manage relationships to insurers
• Align insurance strategy and product launches with Nissan Global Reinsurance, Ltd.

Product Development

• Coordinate, manage and oversee all product development for the most appropriate product portfolio and product set-up
• Oversee the development, modification, review, and implementation of products and pricing
• Review and Establish Policies and Procedures for product development and pricing in collaboration with the actuarial function at NGRe
• Coordinate a competitive product benchmarking to other auto manufacturers in China
• Monitor the performance of existing products and initiate countermeasures if performance is not at agreed level
  

Business Development

• Develop ideas how to increase penetration of existing products
• Coordinate new product launches in China
• Consult DFL and NCIC in growing the insurance products’ portfolio and penetration
• Expanding the existing products regarding terms and coverage

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business development with a strong financial background required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of Extended Warranty, Motor Insurance, or related products experience, preferably within the auto industry
• Broad business sense with strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Self starter with the ability to function without supervision; ability to prioritize, and manage multiple assignments
• Ability to analyze and interpret government laws, regulations, rulings, and court decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage and deliver upon multiple tasks/projects within a metrics-driven environment.

• 监控现有产品的业务表现，对表现不佳的产品实行相应对策

业务发展

• 提出提高现有产品渗透率的想法
• 协调国内新产品发布
• 就提高保险产品种类及渗透率咨询东风集团及日产中国投资有限公司
• 扩大现有产品年限和覆盖范围

职位要求

• 学士学位，商业开发方向，具有财务相关背景；MBA学历 优先
• 5年 以上延保业务、汽车保险或其他相关产品工作经验，汽车行业优先
• 广泛的商业敏感度，具有较强的分析，解决问题和决策的技能
• 良好的人际关系，表达及沟通技巧
• 主动性强，能够在与无监督的的情况下工作；具备划分任务优先级和管理多个任务的能力
• 能够分析和解读政府的法律，法规和法院的判决，裁定等
• 具备优秀的组织能力，能够在以度量驱动环境下管理和实现多个任务/项目
