Main responsibilities:

o Prepare installation program in co-ordination with VWS project manager and subcontractor(s)
o Organize site office installation and equipment storage area.
o Organize subcontractor(s) site teams
o Transfer all necessary engineering and installation information to subcontractors and make sure it is well understood.
o Monitor subcontractors daily in terms of staff attendance, progress and quality
o Make sure that Chinese regulations are followed by subcontractors.
o Make sure that QA/QC and HSE procedures are enforced by subcontractors
o Prepare daily and weekly reports to management
o Participate to meetings with client and other contractors
o Manage reception of equipment on site, and perform QC inspection.
o Manage material controls on site (storage in/out)
o Perform system pre-commissioning: equipment tests, pressure and leak tests, calibration
o Support the commissioning team
o Train client operators for operation & maintenance
o Rectify mechanical punch list
o Troubleshoot defects during warranty period.

Candidate Profile

Education: College degree in engineering discipline (mechanical engineering is a plus)

Experience: 8-10 years experience in similar position

Skills:
o Excellent knowledge of mechanical construction standards and practice (piping, welding, painting, etc)
o Excellent leadership, high sense of initiative, and autonomy
o Able to read PIDs and other engineering documents.
o Good reporting skills
o Able to communicate with elementary English
o Good organizational skills
o Capable of maintaining good working relationship with client
o Hard working and able to work under tight deadlines
