Job Requirement:
?IT Professional background with Shipping or Logistics industry domain knowledge, proven leadership and technical skills (ie. About 10-12 years or more). Minimum qualifications – Degree in Computer Science or Information Management System or Equivalent.
?IT Infrastructure & Database Management knowledge as well as Shipping process knowledge will be an added advantage.
?Soft skills – ability to handle interpersonal relationship, staff conflict management, good communication and writing skills
?Potential Applicant must be a keen & on going learner due to rapid technology changes and global enterprise requirements, i.e. borderless, System-uptime 24/7, a need to constantly keep up in touch with new technology tools, security tools to protect internal network, servers from hackers, viruses and constant effort to maximize IT usage in business Applications and operations.

Job Description:
?Managing internal & external clients Relation – Suppliers, users & authority eg Customs, Port & etc.
?IT ePolicy and management of the IT Corporate Assets.
?Overseeing the development of Corporate Standards and Technology.
?Oversee plans to re-invest in the IT Staff training.
?Motivate and plan staff progression in their career plans.
?Executing cost-effective solutions by exploiting technologies, sourcing opportunities & benefits.
?Ensuring the day to day operations are up and running 24 x 7 for all mission critical applications.
?Upkeep of Operations Procedures.
?Managing of all software / infrastructure projects – local & overseas agents.
?Provide on-going & enhancement.
?Provide Recovery to mission critical and essential IT services when required.
?Energizing Enterprise strategy and initiatives
