JOB SUMMARY

The PR Executive is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of seasonal PR strategies in the China Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists China PR Team in executing seasonal PR initiatives, events, and press days; manage the logistics of PR events or related activities

- Coordinates and liaises with external media, PR agencies and vendors to maximizes relationships with editors, bloggers, TV, celebrities, fashion media and partners

- Manages targeted key celebrities for celebrity dressing including the ordering, receiving and shipping of merchandise to celebrity clients

- Assists in managing sample set, circulation/lending of PR samples to press for product shootings within the China region.

- Collaborate with team on seasonal strategy plan involving the selection of editorial, key items, shop openings, special projects and targeted celebrities.

- Works closely with local functional teams, Regional and U.S. PR teams to ensure integration and support for PR initiatives; ensures alignment with the global brand strategic direction

- Support new stores opening in China

- Creates and maintains weekly and monthly reports; participated in annual budgeting

- Participates in administrative support and ad-hoc projects as assigned

EDUCATION, PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

- Degree holder in PR & Communications, Business Administration or related disciplines

- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience from Retail, Cosmetic, Advertising Agency or FMCG sectors in China

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ambitious, energetic and a good team player

- A dynamic person who is able to work with all kinds of business partners

- Excellent command of English and Putonghua

- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
