External Description:

-Assist in design and execute operation audits to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment, compliance with company policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational cost reduction.
-Work with Internal Audit management in providing recommendations to management to improve/enhance internal control environment.
-Work with management to develop acceptable solutions to address issues or gaps identified and follow-up with management to ensure remediation is adequately implemented.
-Create accurate, logical and detailed work-papers clearly describing the work performed, testing results and conclusions.
-Assist Internal Audit management in performing risk assessment and development of annual audit plan.
-Assist in organizing and maintaining the Company’s documentation of its processes related to SOX.
-Conduct testing the effectiveness of the Company’s key controls for SOX and work with management to ensure remediation is adequately implemented for deficiencies identified.
-Perform other duties related to internal audit department as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree with significant course work in Accounting or Business/Finance.
- 3 years of audit experience is desirable but not required.
- Candidate must have a demonstrated understanding of SOX and US GAAP.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required.
- Successful completion of CPA, CIA or CISA exam preferred, or actively pursuing CPA, CIA or CISA certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office Applications, including PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to travel 15% domestically or internationally.
