Main Accountabilities:
Lead all technical activities of Air Cleaner System of Commercial vehicle
Generate 2D drawings/design BOM, and perform the necessary GD&T / dimensional stack-up analysis
Product specifications and technical communication with customers, suppliers;
Take the lead for drawing release issue with team/customer/suppliers
Work with team for components sourcing, prototype and testing
Work with testing team for proper ADV plan establishment per customer’s requirement and test results review
Perform design for manufacturing / design for assembly at the early design phase
Perform proper design data management
Benchmark products, including the products from the competitors, to improve the design quality and commit to more competitive design
Support cost calculation for quotation preparation

Professional Competence:
Undergraduate education with major in automotive, mechanical engineering
At least 3 years working experience in Air Cleaner system product design and development of commercial vehicle
Knowledge of engine system and components related to air cleaner system of commercial vehicle
Good knowledge of plastic components/sheet metal components
Extensive experience with 3D modeling through use of Catia, UG / Pro/E(at least one of these softwares )
Good knowledge and experience with GD&T
Working knowledge of TS16949 and product development process of automotive industry
Knowledge and application experience of CAE, DFMEA, DVP&R and DOE etc.
Computer literacy and good working knowledge of MS Office
Good communication skills in English
