Scope:


The FAPA ESB Senior Product Analyst is responsible to support the development of new ESB products and product pricing, coordinating and performing data collection, analysis, reporting, the maintenance of business controls, IT system maintenance and enhancements and operational compliance for Ford and cross-brand ESB products in FAPA.



Responsibilities:


· Gather market information in relation to Ford Global and competitor ESB programs and products for the 11 APA markets.

· Research market information and assist in the development, enhancement or modification of new or existing for Ford, trust-mark and/or all-makes related ESB products.

· Research / identify products suited to each APA market to support growth and business plan objectives.

· Interact with the ESB Managers and ESB Analysts in each market, liaise and design marketing programs and actions to support new product launches.

· Perform product structure and benefit comparisons and benchmarking as part of the analysis and /or development of ESB products.

· Assist in the design and development, implementation of ESB products and pricing, associated customer provision documentation, definition of third party or in-house administration tasks, policy & claims reports to insurer's / re-insurers, etc.

· Develop and prepare product sales materials / rate charts as required.

· Assist in the design and development of creating new business structures for self-insured ESB products to ensure achievement of revenue/profit and loss ratio targets.

· Input product related information into the SERVIS2 system. Gather product related information from the markets and develop product pricing as required and upload into the SERVIS2 system.

· Develop a quality assurance monitoring process to ensure the accuracy of all product specifications are loaded onto the SERVIS2 system.

· Support the on-going improvement and development of the SERVIS2 system functionality to better satisfy the business and market requirements.

· Regularly monitor all Revenue / Profit / Contract volume reports by product and market to establish if corrective pricing actions are required. Liaise with the ESB APA Finance Manager or Senior Finance Analyst should further detailed analysis be required.

· Assist in the maintenance of a consolidated claims payment process and prior approval process.

· Coordinate regular and one-of data extracts to for supply to internal and external ESB suppliers for ESB activities.

· Provide product implementation and product operations support to FAPA Regional Operations Managers as required.

· Support with the development of the annual FAPA ESB Business Plan as required.

· Provide support to strategy development and other tasks as requested by management.

· Possible international travel to support FAPA markets and develop / identify best practices globally may represent approximately 5% of a standard work year.



Experience and Background Skills Desired: The ideal candidate will have:


· Knowledge of FAPA markets, and Ford's product and brand requirements in these markets.

· Ability to effectively communicate key ESB deliverables to company management.

· A business or finance degree.

· Technical background in Automotive related administration or sales, General Insurance products, Extended Warranty, insurance or warranty accounting and/or insurance regulatory compliance.

· Be a self-starter, with the ability to take responsibility for key business growth and financial studies in support of strategic business initiatives.

· Be an effective communicator, with ability to work within a diverse (culturally and functionally) environment.
