Role Summary/Purpose
The Service Engineer position is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of service product features, technical publications, training, global parts availability, and service process validation. The position provides exposure to the entire system and requires communication with all functions in the organization and will be involved in the full life cycle of the product from definition to verification/validation and installed base support.
Essential Responsibilities
•Investigating product service requirement and find the opportunities to improve the service ability of the product developed.
•Owner of the system and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnosis, set up and review the design input for service requirements
•Driving technical solution, to design procedures or methodology for product in field diagnoses, modifications, calibrations, and part replacements
•Conduct validation activity for service design output in NPI program
•The owner of the service TTT training (Training The Trainer)
•Setting FRU strategy for NPI program and interfacing with external organizations such as GPRS, Sourcing, Suppliers and Service Operations, ensuring all FRU parts on shelf before the new product shipment
•Collaborate with global service team to collect the feedback of IPU products, and make extraction/summary, review with team to find the opportunity of customer satisfaction. Technical support for post market product quality,marketing,serviceability.
•Owner of service manual, lead service manual and other service document release.
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor degree or above with engineering educational background. Electrical engineering is preferred.
•5 year+ of electrical-mechanical product experience (System design, service design, service/field engineer, etc)
•Good communication skill in cross functions
•Fluent English skill both written & spoken
•Responsible, activate and strong ownership sense
•Eager to learn and practice
•Good product safety, quality and service sense to customers.
•Integrity, cooperative, team work & boundless working.
•Excellent communication skill, active to work in matrix organization, coordination and facilitation skill
