Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
1. Assist development of APA BU product proposals that competitively meet customer needs in APA markets.
2. Support BU product planning manager as product planning single point of contact to global product
teams delivering APA BU programs.
3. Assist to develop consolidated BU product wants for platform, vehicle, powertrain, & technology Cycle Plans.
4. Assist to coordinate the phase-in of vehicle line regulation, corporate policy, (including fuel economy
and emissions), technology and features of BU products.
5. Support delivery of pre-<PS> studies for APA cycle plan programs.
6. Deliver APA planning <milestones> with consistency, quality and robustness.
7. Assist to develop regional BU strategy and Business proposition.
8. Support special product and market studies to deliver APA business needs.
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification: Engineering and/or Business Degree
No. of Years of Experience: 2 yrs + experience.
Professional Exposure(Technical Skills)
Experience of competitive analysis, business case development and/or strategy development
The experience in high-end Auto brands or business is preferable
Preferred previous experiences
Prior planning/strategy and product program experience (product planning, program management,
business planning).
Functional Skills:Working knowledge of GPDS is an advantage
Behavioral Skills
1. Paper writing and presentation skills
2. High integrity with good attitude and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong teamwork
4. Highly motivated, self-starter.
5. Global perspective.
6. Ability to work within a very diverse (culturally and functionally) environment.
Any Others
Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
Flexibility to meeting schedules (early morning or late evening) due to some time zone differences
