FINANCIAL MANAGER
The Financial Manager who will be based at our Regional Headquarters (Shanghai, China) will work closely with the Asia Pacific and China Management team to achieve strategic and operational goals. This position is the important finance driver and coordinator for all related projects within China and plays a critical role in building, leading, and developing the professional finance team in China.
The Financial Manager will report to the Financial Controller of China.
Key responsibilities:
·Manage the China finance and accounts team; maintain an appropriately qualified and trained staff.
·Control of all local financial ledgers sufficient to conform with all local legal accounting and reporting requirements and in accordance with internal reporting responsibilities.
·Manage all monthly and periodic management accounts and ad hoc reports and submit to regional/ group headquarters.
·Ensure that weekly operations reports are complete accurate, that all revenue is audited and reconciled.
·Control and manage China cash flow to ensure that receivables are collected in a timely manner and to manage the preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts. Maintain adequate treasury records and cash management reports to enable the most efficient use of group funds.
·Control and manage company costs in accordance with corporate budgets and operational forecasts and generally safeguard the company financial and other assets.
·Ensure that corporate financial policies and controls are properly communicated to all departments and staff and develop appropriate review and compliance procedures.
·Provide key analytical financial data sufficient to facilitate the managerial decision making process.
·Maintain company legal and secretarial books and records.
·Coordinate and review the schedules and supports for statutory audits and the corporate year end audit before submitting to regional/ group headquarters.
·Organize and work with China operations and business development teams on annual budget and forecast.
·Lead and manage any special projects assigned by the corporate.
·Maintain relationship with China authorities, Banks in China and clients.
Qualification:
·Mandarin and fluent English speaker is a must
·Knowledge of China and working experience in Mainland China is preferred
·Degree in Accounting from an accredited university, CPA required.
·4-5 years of financial management experience for a foreign enterprise.
·Working knowledge of US GAAP.
·Sound working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and taxation issues.
