Position Description
Title: PPI Process Manager
Organization: PPI
Location: CMC
Reports to: Lead PPI Process Manager
Position Summary:
This position supports the practical process improvement function for XXXX in China.
Responsibilities may extend to other Asia locations as required or assigned. The scope of the position
Includes identifying and seeking the potential opportunities for continuous improvement with divisions
/functional departments; Holding PPI training; coaching and mentoring PPI teams and working with steering
Committees on PPI project planning and reporting.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
1. Works with China PPI leader to manage the continuous improvement activities in China, and successfully accomplish goals consistent with business needs and objectives.
2. Works closely with the divisions/functions to initiate and drive excellence in process management for purpose of productivity and cost improvement, customer service improvement and business growth.
3. Building the culture of continuous improvement in TMO China with an underlying philosophy of operational excellence, defined by highest quality, shortest cycle times, and lowest cost
4. Identifies and seeks the potential opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring activities are aligned with key business objectives
5. Holds PPI training to employees including PPI 8-step methods and tools, PPI case study and forum, PPI-Lean and other CI tools
6. Coaches and mentors PPI teams to follow 8-step method and proper tools, ensuring the team achieve the project goals in a certain timeline
7. Works with Steering Committees on the PPI project planning and reporting.
8. Involves in other continuous improvement activities.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications:
1. BS Degree
2. Fluent in English and Mandarin - both written and oral.
Experience Qualifications:
1. Minimum five (5) years job experience with two (2) years in management position and/or leadership role preferably with a multi-national company
2. High energy, results-oriented, effective communicator with a collaborative and disciplined approach to problem solving capable to manage multiple priorities
3. Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of initiatives and drive execution through team and in a matrix reporting environment
4. Demonstrated analytical thinker with a strong financial aptitude to drive results in a disciplined and methodical manner.
5. Open to flexible working hours and domestic/international travel.
6. A strong change agent and good leader in demonstrating and promoting change
7. Good facilitation skills.
8. Good project management skills.
9. Good inter-personal skills.
10. Optional skills: Knowledge about Lean concept, Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques. Six-sigma Black Belt or/and Lean Expert is preferred.

1. Achieves consistent and sustainable training, utilization and productivity performance consistent with the company's financial and service objectives.
