Key responsibilities

Responsible for all assigned aspects of the environmental, health and safety program for the ZFLS plant in Nanjing including but not limited to:

· Development, implementation and administration of corporate environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure that federal, state and local safety laws, regulations, codes and rules are observed. Drive awareness and culture towards safety excellence in all work areas.

· Monitor activities where accidents could occur, halting any operation or activity that constitutes an imminent hazard to personnel, environment or equipment;

· Investigate incidents using methodical problem solving techniques to identify root cause.

· Actively lead continual improvement process with central HSE department of ZFLS headquarters in Germany to reduce and eliminate workplace hazards and risks.

· Maintaining HSE training programs to satisfy specific regulatory and ZFLS company requirements, and to improve overall environmental, safety and health performance within the company

· Advice / training for managers and employees in accordance with current legislation and regulations of the labour and environmental protection.

· Regular observation of legal changes. Information to the affected areas and implementation of the required changes together with the related areas.

· Examine plans and specifications for new machinery or processes.

· Maintain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 programs, safety programs and conduct required training.

· Conduct reviews of safety of machinery, plant and equipment, work processes and buildings, taking into account current legal provisions on labour and environmental protection.

· Participate in internal and external audits of HSE.

· Perform other essential and related duties as may be required.

职位任职条件 Basic Requirements

工作经历

Working experience

At least 3 years experience as HSE coordinator.

教育水平

Education

Engineer (Bachelor) or technician in engineering, chemical engineering, or similar discipline.

英语水平

English

Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing

德语水平

German

Not necessary.

计算机应用水平Computer

Windows XP or 7 package, MS Office

专业资格

Qualification

Knowledge and experience in introducing and implementing management systems, safety / environmental protection (18001/ISO OHSAS 14001).
