Major Responsibilities:
The CD/D Segment Regional PVT engineer is responsible to champion resolution of plant production hard rock issues requiring APA VFG/LVEA involvement.
Ensure plant quality improvement actions are in place to achieve aggressive regional quality glide path objectives.
Identify CFMA/FLH hard rock quality issues requiring escalation. Lead issue deep dives using 8Ds & 6 panels. Leverage APA VFG leaders & LVEA engineering support to achieve robust issue resolution.
Identify process weaknesses & implement improvement actions through plant PVT managers/VRT leaders.
SPOC to coordinate BSAQ efficiencies between LVEA/APA regional plant PVTs (CQ CFMA/Taiwan FLH/Australia).
Ensure LVEA stop ship/gate hold communications are clearly understood & timely communicated to CFMA/FLH/Australia.
Work with APA liaison engineers in LVEA locations & plant PVT engineers in China/APA region.
Compile key lessons learned to forward model programs.
Experience and Background Skills Desired:

Proven experience in one or more of the following: Program management, D&R engineering, Program launches & or PVT.
Intimate understanding & familiarity with using problem solving tools like 8Ds & 6 panels.

High energy, self-starter, with ability and desire to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Ability and courage to effectively communicate key issues and recommendations to senior management.
Ability to work within a very diverse (culturally and functionally) environment.

Good contacts within Global engineering team.
Engineering Degree preferred
