Reports To: Accounting and Reporting Manager
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide accounting instruction to major financial accounting areas
Ensure the closing smoothness
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the reporting
Master data maintenance
Support accounting process improvements
Accounting document filing management

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The key accountabilities of the role are:
Accounting / processes
Prepare the GL entries including accrual, amortization, reserve etc.
Review AP entries
Prepare the inter-company cross charge invoices and entries
Coordinate and ensure on-time and high quality delivery of period-end closing activities including closing check list, sales cut-off, inventory movement cut-off, accrual process, inventory valuation & provision, closing batch run, etc.
Prepare the financial management reports (including daily/weekly management report, Group & Statutory reports, such as HFM BS/P&L report, Headcount report, CAPEX report, Q23 report, Stock level report, Monthly PRC report and Periodic expenses report), making sure the compliance, accountability, accuracy & timeliness.
Review periodic account reconciliation and follow up the open issues
Develop and prepare the new reporting to meet the management requirement
Assist the Accounting and Reporting manager to implement the process improvement
Manage the accounting document filing
Governance
Work with Accounting and Reporting manger to support the achievement of overall departmental objectives and goals
Assist in the internal control implementation.
Coordinate the internal and external audit
Maintain the master data including Vendor, COA, posting group, Dimension, Account schedule etc.
Business insight
Collaborate with Business Analysis team to prepare meaningful financial reports to measure the healthiness & target delivery covering NSV, MAC, Earnings, NCFO, etc.
Prepare the 3P rolling forecast
GL and reporting training for finance/non-finance associates
People and Systems
Assist the Accounting and Reporting manager on accounting process standardization
Support on design and upgrading of ERP system or business application.

Familiar with accounting & reporting system (e.g. Hyperion)
Functionally Competent in Accounting, Reporting
Ability to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP system.
Good command of English.

KEY EXPERIENCES
Proven track record as a GL Supervisor role, +3-yr similar experience in FMCG & MNC company

DESIRED EDUCTATION
Accounting / Commerce bachelor degree or above
