Role Summary/Purpose
This role is responsible for connecting with Marketing and Business Partners to develop and drive Ad and Promotion strategies for region or product marketing programs leveraging advertising, exhibits, collateral/sales tools production and digital communications platforms. This role coordinates with Experts and Shared Services to deliver on marketing objectives by developing and executing programs. This position evaluates program performance including a seamless and integrated program roll-out
Essential Responsibilities
• Developing strategic Ad & Promo plans
• Identifying proper Expert and Shared Service resources to leverage
• Provides Expert, Business Partners and/or Shared Services teams with access to needed content
• Acting as gatekeeper—determining when Market Services/Shared Service materials are ready for marketing review
• Establish communication protocols and operating procedures with key stakeholders to drive the A&P execution excellence
• Develop the branding playbook to provide marketers the guidelines and resources needed to effectively and efficiently execute the marketing activities
• Ensuring compliance of all Ad & Promo materials
• Evaluating programs and reports their performance to marketing
• Sharing lessons learned across the team using established global processes
• Responsible for media strategy development in partnership with Comms/PR
• Working with marketing leaders to establish S2 Ad & Promo Budget
• Monitoring program success and reporting program results to marketing
• Evaluating processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
2. 6+ years of experience in advertising or marketing communications or related field
3. Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams, multiple levels (including executive level) and outside vendors
4. Ability to influence, make recommendations and drive change at all levels of the company
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines
7. Strong analytical and process skills
8. Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy and the Marketing Mix (Print, Digital, Events)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or Master's degree in Marketing
2. 8+ years' experience in marketing, advertising or a related field
3. Communications/campaign project management
4. Inclusive leadership style
5. Basic marketing skills
6. Healthcare product/industry acumen
7. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes
8. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
