Typical Duties

Work closely with Treasury teams in Changan Ford, JMC and CFME to support their treasury activities:

· Review monthly cash positions, investment status and cash flow forecasts. Have regular discussions with JV teams to fully understand funding needs and ensure optimal funding assumptions used for forecasting.
· Constant dialogue with JV Treasury teams to maintain good relationship and understand their day-to-day operations, trading and risk management processes in depth
· Assist JV teams in understanding PBOC/SAFE regulation changes and correspondent implications to JVs. Help with required study and action planning
· Provide support to JV teams in developing funding strategies including bank selections, cost analysis and other funding alternatives.
· Work with China legal to review JVs’ loan agreements, hedging contracts or investment agreements to ensure compliance with the Ford guidelines and requirements. Assist on negotiations with banks on terms and conditions for JVs.
· Lead JV related initiatives about funding opportunities, capital structure and other treasury related studies · Support and influence JV teams in developing or enhancing treasury related policies and processes that follow Ford policies to the maximum extent applicable
· Assist JV Treasury teams in process or efficiency improvements where necessary
· Prepare materials for annual Treasury approval meeting and July Funding Plan for each JV to review borrowing requirements, capital structures, and cash mobilization plans with AP Treasurer and Ford China CFO.
· Oversee Governance and Control for JVs:
o Assist with MCRP / SoX Compliance process and provide guidance & direction to the JVs to ensure timely completion
o Support JVs in preparing audits and corrective actions for any comments identified about treasury matters
o Provide guidance on Treasury Policies/Corporate Policies to JVs
o Prepare and review JV control assessments with management
· Other assignments and ad-hoc queries as required

Qualification Requirement:

1. At least bachelor degree in finance or accounting major. Master preferred;
2. At least 5 years working experience in corporate treasury or banking;
3. Solid business acumen on Treasury processes, China regulations and financial markets
4. Strong analytical skills and not afraid to challenge status quo
5. Strong communication skills and solid oral and written English skills
6. Integrity is always an important factor at Ford;
7. Capability to face challenges and tough situations, drive to deliver results, and to work independently and take the leader role when required.
