This is a world leader in the design and manufacture of components for all types of mobile equipment and machinery. Renowned for its world-class services and products, they provide their portfolio to the world’s leading companies in the automotive industry.

Reporting to the President, this role is primarily responsible for the profitable management and set up of the manufacturing processes and driving the China sales objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

? ensuring targeted revenue growth as well as achieving PCC targets
? implementing strategic initiatives launched by corporate
? ensuring smooth functioning of all operations
? implementing productivity-up initiatives in manufacturing operations and process innovation
? being responsible for statutory accountability and ensure health & safety compliance
? ensuring PCQDMS (Production, Cost, Quality, Delivery, Management, Safety) and high quality product with low cost across all categories of product portfolio
? handle new product launch post release in cooperation with the guidelines from Global Marketing Office

To succeed in this role, you must have solid experience in leading manufacturing companies and Greenfield setup experience.

Other key requirements:

? engineering background – any discipline/MBA or equivalent
? minimum 20 to 25 years of work experience, of which at least five years are in a leading large manufacturing set-up
? have managed profit centre responsibility
? experience with implementing management techniques positively impacting the business outcome
? ability to communicate ideas and influence people from different backgrounds
? excellent communication skills; fluency in English and Mandarin is a plus
