This famuos US Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer is looking for a potential Product Engineer to join their expanding business in Shanghai.

About the organization:
This is a famous US Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:
ensure use of standard global design standard and procedures in product commercialization, make the 3D/2D drawing
co-ordinate all supplier feasibility reviews with suppliers and manufacturing to ensure components and assemblies are manufacturable
co-ordinate all design and validation testing with suppliers and assemblies to ensure parts meet durability expectations
always apply the principles of design for manufacturing, design for reliability and design for serviceability whenever possible in order to differentiate products from competitors

Key Requirements:
bachelor degree in engine ,car, mechanical engineering or related disciplines
minimum three years’ experience of mechanical design in the auto industry, the APQP and PPAP experience is plus. knowledge of the FMEA, DVP&R is optional.
knowledge of sound design and geometric tolerance is essential, GD&T.
proficiency in pro-e or ideas software application, CAE is better.
familiar with die casting or stamping or injection mold process’s which are used within the automotive industry
be able to act as a team player in a global team (Germany, Canada, USA)
