Job Responsibility:

l To develop and refine processes for China production costs and sensitivities to change.

l To prepare, review and update the cost of the products to ensure the compliance with agreed practices.

l To create and refine reporting mechanisms to provide the right message to project, production and supply operations.

l To pro actively provide commentaries to regional/local finance and production operations in support of monthly reporting processes.

l To provide specific and relevant information to Seeds Production Management in improving cost structure of operations

l To get zero based challenging budgets and ensure to be within the agreed figures

l To drive cost improvement actions on existing supply operation and initiatives in new strategies.

l To actively participate in business decision making process and be part of the business management team.

l To support business decision making including specific initiatives/project, e.g. What if analysis, make vs. buy, market product decisions, profit improvement programs, cost management, supply chain optimization, pricing, trade working capital analysis, etc.

l To support the budget preparation process, and ensure high quality submission and in-depth analysis.

l To support China Production Finance BP by providing financial support and expertise and ensure the costing data integrity and quality

l To support improving the cost and capital efficiency and control.

Qualification:

l Accountant with minimum of 8 years post qualified experience.

l Experience of operating within a multinational manufacturing organization.

l Good understanding of product costing and ledger management gained first hand in a manufacturing environment and the compliance requirements (SOX) and international accounting standards (IFRS).

l Practical experience of a significant change or capital project, ideally having operated in a management role.

l Strategic thinking, innovative, strong leadership planning capability, quick in decision making and able to calculate risks.

l Good communication skill, fluent English, high mobility.
