JOB PURPOSE 工作目的

Buyer will support purchase team leaders in successfully managing their respective P&L's with regards to technology planning, purchasing, and maintenance of same. And offer full support on bid & long term localization plan raised byhardware team.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS 主要工作职责

Sourcing & Daily Operation issue:
Work as team member in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process , documenting RFP, and coordinating all surroundingactivities
Ensure purchases for required goods or services are made by recommending and/or complying to Approved, appropriate supplier/s, costs, processes, etc.
Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals
Review, redline, and possess knowledge of technology contracts and contract terminology
Review and negotiate contracts, identifying opportunities and risks.
Seek savings opportunities and understand and identify the tracking of savings.
Supplier Management:
Develop and maintain productive supplier relationships
Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities including on-going supplier development and track supplier scorecards
Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
General/Projects
Must have good knowledge of various sourcing and procurement practices and tools, and lead/support efforts to enhance the value of purchasing to the organization
Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements
Partner with Supplier Quality to drive quality initiatives for Sourcing
Implement and maintain a quality improvement process targeting reduction in cost

BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS 基本技能要求

Bachelor’s degree or above

Three plus years of procurement experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

EMS and IT background preferred
Negotiation expertise is preferred

Knowledge on China import & export operation & familiar with SAFE & custom regulation
