职位描述
- Supports China SQ&D team for new component launch projects following APQP and PPAP disciplines.
Works with SQ&D(s) and specific platform/AE engineers to remove the gaps and errors in drawings / specifications and to insure that the Suppliers’ processes are effectively resolved prior to SOP
- 支持中国S供应商开发团队推出新组件项目的APQP和PPAP的学科。
与供应商开发和特定平台/ AE的工程师的作品，以消除在图纸/规格的差距和错误，以确保供应商的流程，有效地解决前到SOP
- Perform audits to validate that the Suppliers have appropriate process controls and capabilities to provide robust Quality products.
- Supports SB team members in developing commodity and Supplier strategies, new Supplier selections and project sourcing decisions.
- Supports HTT Plants / SQA actions to resolve issues with rejected components.
- Takes the lead in case of casting quality crises to drive quick and effective resolutions at the casting Suppliers, including appropriate documentation (as 8D 5WHy, 4 Blocks, etc.), and insure that the corrective actions are permanently installed. Communicates internally and externally issue status and action plans in this case.
- Brings & supports foundry expertise during project developments (materials & products), and R&D works.
- Training the Suppliers on ****TT material specifications, processes instructions and procedures.
- Requires the Suppliers to apply properly the automotive Quality tools & techniques (PFMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.), assisting them as needed
- Supports Suppliers to conduct continuous improvement projects, scrap rate reduction projects providing oversight or as needed.
- Brings new ideas and propositions on the casting process development for stainless steel items. Get from various sources new materials, processes designs and suppliers perspectives and have the ability to drive forward the new applications in stainless steel foundries.
- Works with R&D laboratory & realizes bibliography researches to be aware of global stainless steel foundry activities.
- Creates check lists, best practices and standard FMEAs for Stainless steel casting processes, training documentation on the standards and specifics casting defects in stainless steel foundry.

Qualification:
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in stainless steel foundries producing, preferably in the automotive sector.
- High technical graduation in foundry/metallurgy field (Bachelor / Meng or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the stainless steel grades (chemistry and mechanical characteristics) and of best practices in melting, pouring, molding & core shop, heat treatment & metallurgical processes of the stainless steels.
- Competency of checking & testing incoming foundry materials, various casting process parameters and final product analysis.
- Problem solving & mastering quality practices, inclusive of: APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Process Auditing, ISO/TS, 8D etc
- Knowledge of the casting suppliers’ panel within the automotive sector will be an added value.
- Fluent English
- Six Sigma Greenbelt (minimum)
