Responsibilities:

1. Supporting the EHSQ-DH to ensure that local standards and procedures are established, implemented and maintained according to Kemira policies and government regulation/legislation.
2. Administering and maintaining the policies/procedures/records and minutes as per the company and ISO standards requirements.
3. Participating in incident root-cause analyses.
4. Collecting and entering the incident/near misses/NC reports into the system.
5. Follow up with all the levels of the organization to develop and implement corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate risks.
6. Supporting the EHSQ-DH in improving the EHS performance. Participate EHS internal audit and assess EHS performance and result.
7. Make daily EHS inspections to monitor EHS performance, EHS trainings/talks with the employees and make improvement action plans and ensures implementation of corrective measures.
8. Supervise special equipment installation, operation, maintenance, work permit. Personal protective equipment in line with EHS policy.
9. Supporting the EHSQ-DH in organizing EHS promotional activities, develop and implement EHS programs on continued basis for EHS improvement.
10. Establishment and maintain 5S system in the plant.
11. Cooperate with HR on EHS training to all staff and to develop organizational EHS awareness.
12. To make recommendation to continuously improve the safety performance inside company.
13. Provide supervision and guidance to contracted security guards and daily security operations.
14. All other tasks that are needed to achieve set targets or given by line management.

Requirments:
1. Bachelor degree or higher with major in Chemical or Process Engineering or Chemistry. National Certified Safety Engineer is preferred
2. 5 years of relevant experience in a chemical production environment in EHS
3. Solid knowledge of EHS relevant local and national regulations and standards
4. Working experience with 5S, EHS/housekeeping programs. Lean manufacturing preferred.

Competencies and skills required:
1. Strong people skills with the ability to deal with people at different levels and different cultural backgrounds in non-direct reporting lines.
2. Good persuasive skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
3. Good communication skills oral in Mandarin and written in Mandarin and English. English oral skills preferred.
4. Enjoys to continuously questioning the status quo and to drive and push improvements. Never satisfied with the status quo enjoys becoming always better.
