Position Description:

- Represent trade and logistic compliance function in APAC
- Manage and control import & export processes and related regulatory compliance
- Drive improvement project in trade and logistic compliance projects
- Drive implementation of new trade and logistic compliance into the organization
- Close cooperation with regional Supply Chain and Quality and Regulatory organization
- Cross-functional integration and support of supply chain, logistics and Trade Compliance processes
- Management of import & export documentation; current and archive
- Management of Import and Export Brokers and Forwarders
Monitor import & export related activities to validate operating systems, processes, files, and databases are functioning in compliance.
- Provide Trade Logistics Compliance support within QIAGEN as required

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in foreign trade, and/or brokerage, and/or Custom law
- Working experience a qualified Trade and Logistic Compliance role, especially with focus on Asia-Pacific region for more than 5 years
- Special focus and China, India and Korea
- Good network in the region established
- Project management experience
- Experienced working in MNC
- Experience with customs & Trade Compliance administration and related authorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP (SAP GTS preferred)
- Good proficiency in English and Mandarin further languages preferred

Personal Requirements:

- Requires flexibility in work schedule
- Requires some travel, domestic & international (40-50 % travel may be required)
- Can work independently
