Purpose:
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (What are the main areas in which this job must get results in order to achieve its purpose ?)
- To deploy SAP Business One at Vesuvius sites in Asia
· 2nd level support for Asia Business Applications
· Working with regional deploy team to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within budget and follows Group Best Practices
· Networking with other IS personnel outside of China to provide support / additional resources when required
· Ensuring the most cost effective solutions are deployed (in line with the global Vesuvius IT strategy)
· Makes suggestions for improvements to the global application team and the Regional Application Manager.
· Leads and documents the regional implementation of application projects with the support of the global application team.
· Administers and supervises applications in area of expertise following global standards.
· Assists sites with technical issues, calling upon the global application team and external suppliers as necessary.
· Ensuring help desk calls/issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner
· Trains Level 1 on specific application areas with the accompanying standards, policies and best practices.

Qualifications:
*Degree in computer
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills including English
*Team building and good communication skills
*Ability to bring solutions to complex business problems.
*Flexibility to travel within Asia on a regular basis
*Working experience within an industrial environment is preferred
Experience:
2+ years ERP deployment experience:
a) Working with SAP Business One as a consultant (manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred)
b) SQL database management experience in MS-SQL;
c) Knowing Business Intelligence systems is a plus
d) Commercial software development experience is a plus
Familiar with information technology trends, including ERP, software development, database, hardware and software
Knowledge:
Expert for SAP Business One
- company configuration,
- report development,
- formatted search development
- all the features of SAP Business One finance, sales and purchase;
