Key Responsibilities:

·Analyze IT requirements raised by Operation teams and provide possible solutions

·Interact with vendors, counterparties and local/regional IT teams in solution evaluation and enhancement prioritization

·Manage the full lifecycle of IT changes from conception to delivery with Operation teams

·Support UAT of the system enhancement

·Coordinate Operation teams for IT-driven changes

·Cover day to day production support of various applications/systems, to provide workaround suggestions whenever incident occurs, to investigate the root cause and to manage till the fix of the issues

·Need to develop scripting to ensure data exchange smoothly between systems, and to be able to understand business requirement in delivering ad-hoc reports

·Build relationships and communicate effectively with both business people and other IT systems areas

Requirements:

·Minimum 3 years working experiences in financial industry

·Working experiences on application development or support role with strong technical skills, ideally for back office in an investment bank or related IT vendor

·Previous application development in one of these languages- VB Scripts, Excel VBA, Oracle PL/SQL. Exposure to Access, Java and Visual FoxPro is definitely a plus

·Strong communication, inter-personal and analytical skills. Ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical colleague. Good writing and verbal communication skills in English

·Highly motivated, self-disciplined, and a good team player as being able to work under high pressure

·Ability to handle multitasks, efficiently prioritize user requirements

·Familiar with clearing and settlement process for various products in Chinese market is a plus

·Basic finance accounting knowledge is a plus

·Passing SAC qualification examinations is a plus
