Job Summary:



Provide legal counsel to Parker’s Greater China operations on (a) commercial contracts drafting, reviewing and negotiation, (b) commercial litigation, disputes and warranty claims, (c) employment matters, (d) training on substantive legal aspects and internal processes.



Job Responsibility:

- Draft, review and advise on commercial contracts/agreements with suppliers and customers for more than 20 legal entities in Parker China;

- Participant in contract negotiation with sales and suppliers;

- Provide legal support and risk management for resolution of legal and risk management matters；

- Review and advise on warranty claims and general dispute resolution and commercial litigation;

- Provide legal assistance on labor disputes/arbitration;

- Conduct contract training for sales;

- Develop standardized processes and templates for the efficient delivery of legal services in Greater China;

- Collaborate with the global Parker Legal Department in the selection and implementation of various systems and process within the department;

- Other legal tasks as assigned.



Education Requirement

Associate or Bachelors Degree required, majored in legal related.





Work Experience Requirement:



- About 5+ years relevant working experience. Manufacturing and global company is preferred.

- Experienced in managing conflict resolution including arbitration, mediation and litigation.



Personal Requirement and Skills:



- Nationwide Lawyer Certificate.

- Good knowledge in Chinese Civil Law, Contract law;

- Good knowledge in Doing Business in China.

- Fluent English and good communication skill, spoken and written

- Sufficient computer skills;

- Quick learner, able to work under pressure;

- Independent, self driven, good team player and able to work with little supervision;

- Able to deliver legal services in a timely, effective and professional manner;

- Demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment that appropriately balances legal risk and business opportunity;
- High personal standards of integrity
