Scope of Role:

· Perform credit evaluation for Mortgage/Personal Loans and ensure credit quality goals are maintained

· Regular review DOI to ensure underwriting standards are continously optimized

· Facilitate CCPM renewal and new product launch

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

· Perform credit evaluation in compliance with credit policies & regulations and within the standard turnaround time;

· Coordinate the extension/review of Country Credit Policy Manual for Credit Products;

· Participate to implement various credit controls to ensure asset quality;

· Participate to develop new credit products along with the business strategies;

· Regular research to benchmark with the market practice in terms of credit policies to ensure the bank’s competitiveness;

· Be aware of the regulation changes as well as external economic environment movement, and update the management on the changes for necessary adjustment on credit policy;

· Comply with the Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances.

· Learn and reinforce how to ASK

o Adhere to delegated authority or else escalate

o Seek clarification in case of doubt

o Know your customer

Selection Criteria:

· University degree in any field preferably Finance, Accountancy, Banking and Business Administration;

· With solid experience in relevant field in local bank, foreign bank;

· Good analytical mind and familiar with local market practices;

· Good interpersonal skills. Ability to establish confidence in dealing with all levels of management;

· Enthusiastic, dedicated, good team-player and be able to work under pressure;

· Fluency in written and speaking English and Chinese
