Job Description

- Lead the development of all Systems Engineering requirements on all APA programs based in China and align with regional counterparts

- Ensure robust design and validation disciplines according to GPDS and Global EESE processes – including Breadboard process, development and sign off

- Lead the development and procurement of tools for any China based Systems Engineering related project

- Lead APA EESE interface to VOME/ EOL and Service departments.

- Support Quality improvement projects according to agreed targets

- Lead the technical maturity and individual development of the China based Systems Engineering team



Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with 7+ years relevant engineering experience, including a minimum of two full new model program cycles in a PMST or D&R role

Prior responsibility for successful program implementation and verification of electrical and electronic systems/features

Candidates must be able to work under operational pressures and be able to set priorities for themselves and the team

Excellent team leader skills

Excellent presentation skills

Demonstrated understanding of APA regional requirements for this function

Networked globally with key stakeholders for the associated technologies

Ability to work across multiple functions

Minimum of 5 years practical experience of vehicle design & verification tools

Experience with complex automotive electrical and electronic systems

Experience with automotive HMI

Working knowledge of vehicle bus-systems CAN, LIN, Industry standards, diagnostics)

Experience with EMC standards and testing methods

Knowledge of homologation requirements and test methods
