Senior Reliability Engineer
Responsible for addressing reliability requirements in product design reviews on new products and enhancements to existing products
Perform reliability analysis (allocation/prediction/modeling) on new designs.
Evaluate reliability test requirements for completed units and constituent components including the use of accelerated life testing techniques.
Evaluate environmental and functional test requirements for completed units and constituent components.
Provide support as required to resolution of problems with production of existing product lines and enhancements to existing product lines.
Perform statistical analyses as required.
Provide reliability training as required.
Perform hardware, process, and system audits.
Additional responsibilities as required.

Required Skills
Motivated self-starter that is a flexible team player, can proactively seek out and resolve problems, and can support multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of quality/reliability statistics for evaluation of field data and test data.
Experience working on and evaluating electrical systems, mechanical systems, and software.
Experience working on notebook computer or tablet production quality control
Experience performing and utilizing the following processes: reliability allocations, reliability predication, reliability modeling, Wei bull analysis, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), safety analyses, Worst Case Analysis (WCA), electrical stress analysis, mechanical stress analysis, Parts Application Review (PAR), Parameter Variation Analysis (PVA), sensitivity analysis, reliability testing, environmental testing, Design of Experiments (DOE), and design reviews.
Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), hybrid technology, computers, production processes, Statistical Process Control (SPC), maintainability, human factors, rerating criteria, end of life characterization, design for manufacturability
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
> 5 years of reliability related experience.
Experience with technical product design reviews.
