Responsibilities:

• Design and development of Vehicle Electrical and Electronic Systems and Components.
• Project management.
• Manage Suppliers and/or in-house CAD Team to develop, design and release electrical commodities and systems for new programs.
• Lead interface between engineering, studio, supplier, manufacturing, craftsmanship & FMQ to ensure quality delivery.
• Support selection of suppliers, development of program work plans, and completion of gateway deliverables to maintain program timing.
• Testing and documentation.
• Develop designs to meet or exceed system & vehicle attribute targets.
• Build strong relationship with Global Core in FNA (Ford North America).
• Development support of Electrical and Electronic systems for in vehicle application.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, software or similar, Master Degree Preferred.
• Understanding of Electrical and Electronic Systems, Software, Testing and Project Management.
• Understanding of Electrical Design Principles, understanding of software development and testing, understanding of project management principles.
• Experience in the automotive industry for a minimum of 3 years.
• Automotive experience defining requirement and translation customer requirements into specifications.
• Automotive experience in Electrical/Electronic systems for a minimum of 3 years.
• Automotive experience with project management to lead and resolve complex electrical and product development issues.
