Responsibilities:

• Support team on current and future model programs.
• Support key design and attribute characteristics for current and new vehicle programs.In this role he/she needs to understand the design inputs to the car which affect these characteristics, and ensure the optimum configuration is implemented.
• Support the definition and implementation of targets for the VFG.
• Responsibility for meeting quality / targets using, test methods, DV&PV, health chart requirements and global best practices.
• Work closely and coordinate with suppliers / local PVT's / LVEA / JV's / Technical Experts / other engineering departments / manufacturing / purchasing / STA and global resources to ensure best quality solutions for current production and future models.
• Project management responsibility with the goal of meeting targets and objectives.
• Participate weekly VFG meetings with Assembly VFG & Variability Reduction Team (VRT).
• Drive progress of D&R projects in Balanced Single Agenda for Quality (BSAQ) work plan.
• Provide linkage and guidance for plant VRT.
• Control Function BSAQ Glide paths through VFG/VRT meetings.
• Drive problem solving and quality improvement for current products.
• Works with the team to set objectives and tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required.
• At least three years Car audio product development or quality working experience.
• Understanding of 6 Sigma / G8D problem solving disciplines.
• Expertise in data analysis and problem solving.Project Management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel.
