Plans, organizes, and controls an assigned product line from conceptual stages through marketing research and various suppliers evaluation to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. Establishes long term strategic partnership with qualified suppliers and close contacts the market to anticipate customers’ future demands.
Key Responsibilities:
participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and coordinate for new and emerging products
identifies, evaluates and establishes partnering opportunities for complementary third-party products to broaden company's product line and targets towards to enhance the profitability for both sides of company and customersestablishes pricing and marketing strategy on assigned product lines base on marketing research and competitors’ analysis to make sure the product lines being competitiveness in marketplace and both sales revenue and profitability being hit the targetsclose coordinates with buyer and SQE to qualify the vendors. negotiates and coordinates with third-party suppliers on product criteria, package standard, quotation and other supplying agreement terms, estimates of potential profits and sales revenue and introduce to marketplacecollaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, marketing, supply chain on sales support, marketing activities and inventory reservation responsive to customer needs and market opportunitiesperiodically provides technical expertise and training to sales staff and a variety of customers in support of sales growththe creation and achievement of annual operating plan for sales and marketing operations including expenses, sales targets, revenue expectations and profit marginsestablishment of pricing policies and the introduction to the customer base, ensuring gross margin objectives are met without the loss of customer salesforecasting and achievement of monthly and quarterly revenues targetsassists to provide marketing plans and scheme on assigned product lines and establishes measurement metrics to ensure marketing programs are achieving targeted plans and sales of targeted products
Key Requirements:
bachelor degree in related automotive or marketing majoring
requires excellent business logical sense with detailed knowledge of products and markets. (automotive filters / automotive batteries and care products such as coolant freon etc. / water pumps / chassis system)proven records with three to five years’ senior experience in product management related positionexperienced in aftermarket, management, professional development and performance alignment processes or equivalent processesproduct management and sales & marketing training experiencefluent English both in oral and writtenexcellent interpersonal skills and communication skillssense of urgency and strong self-motivation
