Key Responsibilities:

? responsible for and involved in the development of new products and maintance of existing products for global market; cooperate with global team to develop NPD/NPI projects
? develop accurate bills of materials, responsible for maintance of product BOM in SAP
? develop, maintain and amend engineering design drawings using 2D and 3D software packages
? responsible for carrying out risk assessments and advising safe methods of work
? participate in and recommend continuous improvement activities
? liaise with other departments to efficiently and effectively resolve problems
? provide technical assistance to the company Marketing Teams and internal departments
? contribute to new product design, reducing costs and lead times by investigating and implementing new design techniques and manufacturing processes
? investigate customer quality concerns ensuring that timely and effective corrective measures are implemented
? ensure safety, health and environment is inherent in all projects
? other task assigned by supervisor or department

Key Requirements:

? bachelor or above on Mechanical Engineering or relevant major
? above three years experience in product development , mechanical structure design; experience on project management is a plus
? familiar with the tooling of diecasting, plastic, sheet metal etc.; good knowledge of machining process and paint coating; capable to make motion mechanism design is a plus
? skillful in Creo, Pro/E, AutoCAD Inventor etc 3D/2D software, fluent application on product design
? fluent English on both speaking and writing is a must
? good communication skill, ability of work under pressure; great teamwork spirit, cooperate well with cross-function party
? must be proactive with great initiative on task, pursuiting application of new technique on design
? familiar with factory operation environment , understanding SAP is a plus
