Position Summary:
Develop and implement processes for the engineering of Instrumentation. Will work closely with business development team to ensure proper products application in marketing, R&D and Project Mgt are the major responsible for the individual. Meanwhile he/she is the leader to ensure manufacturing process capability, cost saving, efficiency and overall productivity goals are met. Good communication with oversea division engineering team to contribute on worldwide technology and product development. Good sense and knowledge in Manufacturing and Quality.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

1. This position will be responsible for the overall engineering team, interact internally with all related departments.
2. Have the ability to deal with people at a cross-functional level. Position requires ability to effectively communicate in oral and written English in order to present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and suppliers.

Job Responsibility:

1. Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes including conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from the operators/production technicians.
2. Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and key Lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to areas of production.
3. Coordinate input that may cross multiple teams or areas; make recommendations, and implement changes.
4. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm and validate manufacturing process requirements. Determine root cause of failure using statistical methods (e.g., design of experiment, SPC, 6 sigma) that may result in changes in design, tolerances, or processing methods.
5. Communicate with customer and provide first-fit solutions, take lead on project management base on customer or internal requirement, set up project time-line requirement and coordinate with multiple function team.
6. Evaluate capital equipment investments and prepare cost justifications. Design and prepare concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.Manage the overall implementations of capital equipment projects.
7. Develop tooling and fixtures for new products and processes and work with tooling vendors to supply such designs.
8. Identify and implement solutions for issues relating to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
9. Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures. ？Prepare reports summarizing analyzed process information and trends.
10. Share specialized knowledge with others.

Qualifications:

1. University or higher Degree in related Engineering or Technology field and min 6~8 years of related experience required.
2. 3 years engineering management experiences are preferred.
3. Fluent in written and spoken English？
4. Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects
5. Good learning ability and adaptability.
6. Prefer Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs, and quality systems experience. Familiarity with APQP PPAP
