职位描述
工作职责：
1. Generation of R&D project proposals / specifications based on business plan
2. Plan / analyse / develop enabling technology modules for new products in coordination with commercial
3. Supporting Open Innovation initiatives including executing technology intelligence process and technology road mapping methodology etc
4. Manage external collaborative projects in liaison with Universities, research Institutes, Industries and Material vendors, with regular updates on project progress
5. Support the design and drafting of components and assemblies of product prototypes for test evaluation
6. Advanced use of CSTEDY & similar tools (FEA & CFD) for in-depth design analysis
7. Assist in the creation of analysis programs including Engineering WebCalcs programs
8. Assist in detailed failure analysis activities, including full investigation / reporting / resolution with customer with necessary commercial awareness
9. Perform and monitor the testing of JC product designs, whether as part R&D or for customer-specific tests
10. Manage technician resource workload
11. Representing John Crane at international customer forums, conferences etc
12. As appropriate, create / distribute relevant technical information such as bulletins and papers on technologies
Additional duties and responsibilities will vary based upon local business / departmental needs
岗位要求：
Education: typically an accredited B Eng degree (UK) or overseas equivalent; additional qualifications an advantage; engineer may be pursuing local ‘chartered’ status (e.g. C Eng in UK, overseas equivalent). As a member of a Global team, good English communication skills are essential.
Experience: typically at least 4 years’ relevant experience in an Engineering Development / R&D role, with extensive relevant product / equipment / industry knowledge
