职位描述
1. Job responsibilities
Provide timely and actionable market analyses and solutions to drive key business decisions and accelerate the development, and prioritization, of insights.
? Design and implement market research to answer business questions based on comprehensive integration of primary, secondary and competitive intelligence sources.
? Coordinate and collaborate with brand teams throughout process of generation of business questions and hypotheses to be tested.
? Ability to synthesize multi-sourced complex information, apply analytical capabilities and utilize strong interpersonal and communications skills in an effective manner.
? Working with brand marketing teams to proactively recommend, develop and implement market research plans that provide relevant, timely and actionable information
? Prepare reports and make recommendations to senior management about the implications of alternative sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
? Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external research agencies and consultants to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
2. Qualification:
& Bachelor degree or above in science, marketing or business, medical background preferred
& Minimal 3-5 years’ experience in marketing research function either in agency or in-house, previous experience in pharma company is a plus
& Good writing and spoken English, CET-6 required
& Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

& Strong project management skills, be able to prioritize and manage and execution of primary research projects

Description
The Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence is a technical expert focused on market research methods, design, data collection and analysis to provide the necessary market understanding to drive evidence-based strategic and tactical organizational decisions and the generation of insights.
The role will provide holistic, insight-driven consultation to all levels of internal stakeholders using market, portfolio and brand-level market research and information.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide timely and actionable market analyses and solutions to drive key business decisions and accelerate the development, and prioritization, of insights.
n Design and implement market research to answer business questions based on comprehensive integration of primary, secondary and competitive intelligence sources.
n Position requires expertise in available primary methodologies, including discrete choice/conjoint quantitative methods to inform product forecasts, secondary and CI data sources, and analytics.
n Coordination and collaboration with PCU and CoE teams throughout process of generation of business questions and hypotheses to be tested.
n Position requires the ability to synthesize multi-sourced complex information, apply analytical capabilities and utilize strong interpersonal and communications skills in an effective manner.
n Position demands a strategic, business-driven orientation as well as a high level understanding of the assigned therapeutic category.
n Must have strong ability to orchestrate and execute a large number of projects while looking to continuously improve processes, quality and efficiencies.
n The role requires knowledge of the evolving US reimbursement environment and impact on Sanofi brands and the industry.
n Position demands a ‘problem solving’ orientation. Must be able to develop innovative, resourceful solutions to complex, unstructured problems with minimal guidance.
Challenge current thinking by developing new ways of analysis, synthesis and delivery of information.
n Proactively seek process improvement opportunities by challenging existing processes, proposing solutions, and driving implementation.
n Continuous exploration to identify new and innovative market research techniques and data sources that result in unique and actionable insights.
n Provide concise analyses that go beyond a presentation of the facts to include a discussion of the associated business implications and recommended course of action.
Demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and ability to succinctly express point view using both written and verbal communications.
n Excellent writing, presentation and project management skills required.
n Position requires the ability to tell a clear, compelling “story,” and deliver recommendations that are targeted to the business question/hypothesis, in a way that cuts through the clutter and facilitates action.
n Ability to produce high-quality, business-relevant output with strong emphasis on ‘packaging’ of information is critical - - i.e., compelling, accurate content as well as attention to clear, concise data presentation and aesthetic detail/formatting.
Develop and sustain close working relationships with key stakeholders in PCUs and CoEs as well as global and/or alliance counterparts, where necessary.
n Position requires proven success working cross functionally to achieve shared goals.
n Proactively partner with PCUs and CoEs in generating and prioritizing ideas from market and customer insights.
Job expectation to demonstrate flexibility to work transversally within the BI group as needed.
Qualifications
n Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA preferred.
n Minimum of 7 years working within the Business Intelligence/Market Research function.
n Strong understanding of primary research methodologies.
n Fluency in the use of a wide range of secondary data sources including, but not limited to: sales, prescription and promotional audits, as well as general business and pharmaceutical industry data sources.
n Excellent writing, presentation and project management skills.
n Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
