GENERAL DESCRIPTION / JOB PURPOSE

1. To develop new SSR product according to design input from customer
2. To adapt existing SSR product according to requirement from customer
3. Ensure the design quality, cost, schedule conform to the defined target
4. Provide technical support to sales and customer
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive design task from team leader and make pre-study. Submit FSR (Feasibility Study Report) and BCFE (Business Case Finance Estimation) in time.
2. Make official designing base on the input from customer (including assist on product mechanical design) . Conduct functional test, reliability test on prototypes.
3. Prepare relevant designing documents including basic design concepts, competitor analysis, schematic simulation, DFMEA, BOM, cost calculation and etc. Be able to organize design review independently.
4. Evaluate materialsaccording to FASS (First Article Sample Submission) procedure
5. Responsible for OTD and quality of design
6. Assist in transitioning products from engineering into manufacturing and helping with process engineering where needed. Provide technical service (on-site or remote) to sales and customer, including model selecting, training, trouble shooting
7. Failureanalysis on return parts and prepare FA report.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. 3-5 years related engineering design or process engineering experience.
2. Working experience in power electronic modules, such as IGBT module, SCR module, switching power supply, inverter, etc., is preferred.
3. Working experience in thick film circuit, MCM (multichip module), electronic packaging is a plus.
4. Minimum of 1 year using electronic design software, such as Altium.
5. UL, FCC, EMC certificate experience will be preferred.

EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor degree or above in Electronic Engineering, semiconductor, solid state electronics or relevant field
2. Good communication skill, especially Fluent Chinese and English language abilities will be preferred
3. Good command in Excel, Word , Windows operation and Power Point;
4. Familiar with 6-Signal, DFSS, DOE, etc. Be able to use 6-sigma tools, such as Minitab.
5. Basic LabVIEW programming skill is preferred, be able to build low complexity testing system based on virtual instrument technology.
6. Problem-solving skill
7. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data sheets technical procedures, engineering drawings and government regulations.
8. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures and engineering documents
9. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
