职位描述

a) Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility


1. To manage and coordinate sales and customer activities in support of various business segment strategies and objectives in Asia
2.
Compliance and correct execution of contracts/Agreements. Thoroughly understands customer's organization structure and needs. Develop new accounts and sales contracts. Influences customer's decision makers and process. To build a healthy sales funnel by collecting business leads and organizing the follow-up of the leads through to the order process
Maintain Customer Relationship Management database.
Understand the sampling and contracting procedures. Cooperate with customer support team in US and Europe to finalize MTA/CDA's and contracts, and mange local internal resources to achieve the targets related to the different business segments
Is responsible for developing new market segments and building relationships with customers/end users in these markets segments. Knows products and services.

Build up knowledge of the local Asia market to enhance/improve the business process in China
9. Adhere to DSM Biomedical Quality System procedures and the ISO 9001and/or 13485 standards.
b) Authorities: Implement Commercial terms within boundaries agreed with product lines.
c) Projects/Special Assignments:

SHE & Security

· Show behavior in line with the SHE and Security risks and agreed controls, including being compliant to DSM and DSM Biomedical requirements, rules and procedures.
· Address any person behaving in a SHE and Security irresponsible way.

Knowledge and Educational Level

  • Bachelor's Degree (Chemical or Business background)
  • Master degree Desirable


Required Level of Experience

  • >5 years working experience in a Business to Business setting
  • In depth understanding of Sales process, contracting, licensing and other tools and experience in negotiating complex sales agreements. Product and marketing champion who displays deep knowledge of core and new product portfolio and related solutions, market and competition.
  • Strong preference for technical discipline that supports marketing know-how for chemical/polymer sales and related biotechnology contract services.
    Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills. Customer leader who thoroughly understands customers needs, establishes privileged relationships and actively influences their innovation and purchasing decisions.
  • Strong verbal & written English communication and presentation skills. Second Asian language is desirable
    Energetic driver who pushes himself/herself and her/his team to deliver ambitious results, is productive, perseverant, well organized, and also communicates convincingly internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects with good follow through. Able to prioritize and focus.
    Must be able to work with a high degree of independence within corporate sales & marketing procedures and guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel > 50%.
  • Good technical understanding and affinity with medical technology.
  • Teamplayer who fosters teamwork, leverages and orchestrates other functions with adequate sense of urgency to deliver full value to customers, share insights with colleagues.
