Main Responsibilities:
Ensure proper media briefs are received before media planning projects are initiated.
Have close involvement in overall advertising objectives.
Develop budget recommendations.
Analyse/evaluate/interpret marketing data and available research to add value to the development of media strategies.
Develop in-depth knowledge of available Planning tools and apply them to the Planning process.
Present all conceptual, revised and approved plans to clients (where responsible) with rationale to support recommendations.
Efficiently manage the execution and approval process of the plan.
Responsible for ensuring implementational buying briefs are properly prepared.
Oversee/contribute to the preparation of detailed implementation plans for traditional channels.
Ensure efficient and accurate paperwork.
Monitor that planned objectives are achieved.
Ensure all agreed reports are supplied and presented to clients on time.
Continually think creatively and identify new, innovative opportunities that could be effectively used by clients.
Analyze trends in the marketplace and share the information with clients. Be conduit for local media knowledge, updates.
Initiate, prepare and present media points-of-view, market scene updates, media flashes etc. to clients
Handle all day-to-day maintenance and stewardship of on-going plans.


Requirements:
Good command of English and Chinese.
Good presentation skills (written and oral).
Good knowledge of CMMS (incl. Correspondence and Cluster) and relevant research tools.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with parallel pyramid.
Develop and maintain good relationships with media reps.
Effective team player.
Train, develop and motivate junior team members.
Be fully conversant with the role within 3 - 4 years
