Purpose of the position

Carry out defined traffic controller position for Key Account and follow up Area guidelines & Company policies to fulfill business processing.

Key Tasks

Import

1 Follow up on accurate arrival date and feedback the information to customers and overseas stations on executed activities and incurred charges.

2 Check and verify cargo informations / status and track & trace system update.

3 Coordinate among departments if applicable.

Export

1 Follow up on routing orders / order acceptance and feedback the information to customers and overseas stations on executed activities and incurred charges.

2 Check and verify cargo information / status and keep timely update into T&T system.

3 Coordinate among departments if applicable.

General Duties

1 Ensure customer satisfaction and customer retention by active delivery of professional customer service, timely and friendly.

2 Check and verify cargo status timely and accurately.

3 Roll out approved/proposed improvement on operational procedure and internal & external system.

4 Fulfill SOP under cooperation with related operation teams, local BU and overseas offices.

5 Escalate the direct superior any irregularities or queries and make feedback if needed.

6 Feed back pre-claiming and status to customers actively.

7 Order/Performance management – handle customer’s requirements and complaints follow up claiming, verify credit terms & status, and coordinate with PA departments concerned on related issues.

8 Move forwards KPI management and reporting requested on SOP.

9 Take up additional tasks as assigned.

10 Back up for other team members if necessary.

Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working

1 Functional experience in Airfreight and/or Ocean Freight

2 Knowledge of PA systems

3 Good understanding of PA (strategy, products, network)

Educational background / Work experience

Operational Industry experience (minimum 3 years)

English and Mandarin
