Position Summary:
We're looking for a Software Engineer with significant Linux based layer 2/3/4 router development experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in TCP/IP, routing protocols, NAT, Firewall, IDS, VPN, QoS, WAN, LAN and Linux network internals and Linux packet processing. This job is a fast paced, senior technical position on a fast growing team in SMC Networks. Being able to travel to US for up to 8 weeks annually is needed.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of C programming in developing Layer 2/3/4 router software on embedded Linux platform.
- 1+ years of C programming in developing Layer 2/3/4 router software on embedded Linux platform.
- Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible.
- Must be a flexible self-motivated who can ramp up with new technologies quickly
- Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills. Good English writing & reading communication skills.
