Responsibility:

To be a key person leading the building construction project from appointment to completion

To be a main contact among the establishment team, JV, local government, and sub-contract suppliers

To be responsible for the completion of projects within the negotiated contract

To be responsible for project quality, program, cost, and safety management

To generate solutions for project delay or quality defects, and other design & construction activities to be amended

To be in charge of the monitoring of project filing, reporting, and meeting system application

Coordinate and communicate with government agency to obtain the necessary permit related to EHS for the plant operation

Actively involve in new project and new equipment risk assessment

Develops annual EHS deployment plan, monitors action plan and conducts internal audit and self assessment according to JV EHS requirements

Able to lead incident investigation, root cause identification, corrective and preventive action develop and follow-up with other responsible

Conducts EHS trainings to employees and contractors

Qualifications:

Education & Qualification

-- Must have an engineering degree. Civil, Mechanical or Electrical degree preferred

Knowledge & Experience

At least 5 years project management or facility maintenance experience, with M&E or Civil background preferable

Familiar with EHS/construction laws and regulations of local government and administrative bureaus

Experienced in construction EHS Management (Drawing Design, Vendor, Contract, on-site, final acceptance, fire-fighting, permit etc.)

Previous Construction experience is a plus

Knowledge of government approvals process

Good skill of project program scheduling & monitoring

Demonstrate the leadership skills for site construction & safety management

Good interpersonal and communication skills, academic writing skill for project reports

Office software, AutoCAD 2000, Microsoft Project and other necessary software skills

Must be able to communicate in English

Must be honest

Must have good references

Must have a good work ethic
