Position Summary:
This position will manage part manufacturing process development, equipment & tool selection & layout, and drive process continuous improvement by working with team.

Primary Accountabilities:
Standardizes the product development process and clarify the requirements for the product development.
Develops the part development plan for the manufacturing engineering team, and make sure to initiate the standard product development process, and then to follow up.
Organizes the manufacturing process development to meet product drawings and specification, cost target, and tact time requirements.
Organizes product development gate review based on process feasibility, quality control, cost and efficiency.
Develops and revises manufacturing engineering documents.
Follows up the sampling and production trial to validate the tooling, fixtures and gages, and organize the technical team to resolve manufacturing issues and to correct and improve the processes.
Provides guidance and training to the new manufacturing engineers.
Determines equipment and tooling specification and selection.
Layouts the equipment to form production cells based on the part categorization and typical manufacturing process analysis.
Interacts with customers, suppliers and internal functions heat treatment, special process, NDT and quality for technical clarification and coordination.

Secondary Accountabilities:
Supports the product First Article submission and approval for the product into production.
Recommends make or buy proposal based on the production volume and revenue, equipment investment and material and process cost analysis.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or related technical degree. Master degree is a plus.
7 plus years of experience in some areas of manufacturing/engineering: product design, manufacturing, fixture, tooling or gage design or CNC programming. Must have hands on experience in the machining factory.
Must have 2D/3D design software experience, AUTOCAD & CATIA preferred.
Knowledge and experience in APQP/PPAP is a plus.
Must have knowledge of measurement basics.
Knowledge of heat treatment is a plus.
Must have team work spirit and good at communication.
Good command of written & oral English.

3. 组织制造工艺开发，以满足产品图纸和规范、目标价格和生产节拍的时间要求。
4. 根据工艺可行性、质量控制、成本和效率组织产品开发阶段评审。
5. 跟进样件制造和试生产，以验证刀具、夹具和量具，并纠正或改进工艺流程。
6. 决定设备及工具的规范和选择。
7. 根据零件归类和典型制造工艺流程分析进行设备布局以形成生产单元。
8. 与客户、供应商和内部功能部门如：热处理、特种工艺、无损检测和质量等部门互动、以明确技术要求和相互协调。

辅助职责

1. 支持产品首件样件提交及批准产品进入批生产。
2. 根据产品批量、产值、设备投资以及材料和工艺成本分析做自制和外购的建议。

技能、经验与资质

1. 机械工程、工业技术或相关技术专业学士学位。具备硕士学位者优先。
2. 7年以上某些制造工艺/设计领域的工作经验：夹具、刀具、量具设计和数控编程。必须有在机械加工工厂的动手的工作经验。
3. 必须有二维/三维制图的经验，AUTOCAD和CATIA优先。
4. 具备APQP/PPAP知识与经验者优先。
5. 必须有测量的基础知识。
6. 必须有统计过程控制（SPC）及解决问题工具的知识。
7. 具备热处理知识优先。
8. 必须有团队工作精神且善于沟通。
9. 较好的掌握书面英语。
