Position: Senior Manager, Market Development
Reporting to: Head of Asia Regional Business Management_ Metal System
People Management Responsibility: No
Travel Required: Yes
Shift Required: No
JOB OBJECTIVES:
1. To create OEM (ie Brand Owner) projects in consumer electronics using MIM-Technology to replace other metal part forming technology.
2. To develop new customers ie Brand Owners in the field of consumer electronic industry in alle regions of the world, particularly N. America and Asia Pacific
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for pull promotion of MIM Technology and metal based inductors through creation of OEM growth projects in consumer electronics and the subsequent project coordination and support
2. Develop and Implement strategy to consumer electronics Industry in Asia Pacific region
3. Initiate and facilitate the launch of product innovations in consumer electronics industry
4. Provide market intelligence in the consumer electronics industry from different aspects, including customers, technological development, and competitors, and identify strategic relevant market by analysing the full value chain and identifying the value drivers
5. Define market needs and target customer portfolio, and develop new business and customers based on the strategies
6. Conduct competitive benchmarking for formulation and product costing
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Minimum Master Degree in Powder Metallurgy / Metal Materials Science /Chemicals or Chemical Engineering
2. Working Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technical marketing in the metal shape forming or compounding industry.
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge: product or industry knowledge in Powder Metallurgy or MIM industries, other knowledge electronic industry will be an advantage.
