Report to:Information Analysis Manager

Responsibilities:

-Closely interact with SFE Account, SFA and Sales Admin team ensure that all analyses executed meet the business needs and delivers to an appropriate timeline and effectively communicate findings and recommendations
-Serves as a Coordinator of ABEB, KA and Retail and other supporting functions for expertise in the use of external and internal data, and provide training for individuals (e.g. Sales management teams, Regional marketing, marketing managers) about data knowledge
-Conduct assigned projects in the area of marketing analysis and sales force analytics. The range of projects can include: data management and reporting, segmentation and profiling, territory alignment, quota setting, hospital potential projection and ad-hoc data and statistical analysis.
-Participate in analysis of secondary data sources (e.g. IMS, CPA, Haihong), internal data (DMS, SFA, Qlickview).
-Develop expertise of systems and data sources and tools / methodologies to maximize effectiveness of role
-Manage Third party data platform & develop systems and usage of secondary data and tools (DMS, SFA, Qlickview) to maximize effectiveness of data system


Requirements:
-Bachelor degree required. Advanced degree in quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Management Science, Operations Research, Psychology. MBA preferred.
-Good business sense, strategic thinking skills, insightful and able to see the implication to GSK strategy and operation from scattered information.
-5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in a market research, forecasting, sales analysis, finance consulting role)
-Good interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts and information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences
-High levels of analytical (both quantitative and qualitative) capability coupled with a proven ability to think conceptually
-Strong Excel skills; knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis techniques knowledge of database software (Access, SQL, COGNOS) desirable
-English proficiency in reading, writing and oral communication
