Basis Responsibility

1. Sourcing new suppliers, establish potential suppliers list.

2. Arrange SQE audit for potential suppliers, set up suppliers’ assessment files.

3. Establish approved supplier list, include capacity, price, main product, and process.

4. Sourcing and negotiate with suppliers for new items quotation.

5. Follow up suppliers sample submission and qualified schedule, till to approve.

6. Organize suppliers’ documentation, after approved, then forward to purchasing to follow.

Main Responsibility:

1. Choose the excellent suppliers to achieve best practice in cost, quality and delivery.

2. Manage sourcing projects through RFQs to delivery.

3. Develop supplier skills, including APQP, PPAP, SPC, and Design Review.

4. Stick to sourcing procedure and follow up and close all open issues regarding development of projects.

5. Monitor and assure the timing of OTS, PPAP.

6. Assure the smooth project transfer from sourcing to purchasing after PPAP.

7. Cost saving implementation for both current purchased items and new project.

8. Well control plastic / die casting tooling cost and make sure moulds invested to be well used

9. Second source development for better price and quality.

10. Report to Sourcing team leader for related job.

Requirement:

Sourcing Engineer – Plastic Injection/Die casting

1. Bachelor degree in (Mechanical) Engineering or equal, with specialization or experience in plastic injection / die casting;

2. At least 3 years related experience in plastic injection/die casting

3. Additional experience in sourcing / purchasing is prior;

4. Good understanding of supply chain Management;

5. Good spoken, written and reading Mandarin and English;

6. Good technical, communication and negotiation skills;

7. Need to be on business, Team player, and self-driven.
